StoreRoots Privacy Notice

This notice explains what StoreRoots collects about people who visit our website, write to us, hear from us, or become our clients. StoreRoots is a trading name of YAYCE LLC, 507 Ash St, Morrison, Missouri 65061-3002, USA. YAYCE LLC is responsible for this data. Contact: hello@storeroots.com.
What we collect, and why

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
Your customers' data (for our clients)
When we run a client's website and store, the client decides what's collected from its own customers, such as orders and form entries. We process that data only on the client's behalf (our Service Agreement, section 7). The client's own privacy notice covers it.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that run our business:
- Hosting: Oracle Cloud, India.
- Email delivery: Amazon Web Services, India.
- Network protection and file storage: Cloudflare.
- Our mailbox: email to hello@storeroots.com passes through Cloudflare's email routing, and we read and answer it in our own inbox, which runs on the hosting above.
- Payments: our payment processor (Polar or Stripe), named on the checkout page before you pay. It receives your card details; we never see your full card number. It may handle payment details in the United States.
- Our professional advisers, and anyone the law requires.
Where it's kept
Mainly in India, on the hosting above. Our payment processor may handle payment details in the United States, and Cloudflare runs a worldwide network. If you write to us from another country, such as the UK, Canada or Australia, your information goes to those countries. We're taking legal advice on whether your law needs a formal safeguard for that, and we'll update this notice if it does.
How long we keep it
- Businesses we contacted: up to 24 months after our last message. If you ask us to stop, we keep only a note not to contact you again.
- Messages you send us: up to 24 months.
- Clients: for the agreement, then as long as tax law requires for billing records.
- Logs: 30 days. Backups: gone within 90 days.
Cookies
Our site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. If you use the chat or the cart, a small cookie keeps that conversation or cart working.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you can object to our messages at any time; one reply saying "stop" is enough. Write to hello@storeroots.com. Depending on where you live, you can also complain to your regulator: in the UK the ICO, in Australia the OAIC, in Canada the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Our services aren't meant for children.
Changes
If we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to clients, we tell them by email.
