Where it fits: a cake consultation, a custom order or a private event. Customers pick a free time and get a confirmation by email.
Chat in one inbox
A chat button on every page of your site. Messages land in one inbox, and if a chat waits 5 minutes, you get an email.
Google review requests
After a sale or a booking, customers get a short email asking for a Google review, with a private way to tell you about a problem instead.
A customer newsletter
Once a month, we lay out and send a newsletter from the text you write, to customers who opted in, from your own domain. Anyone can unsubscribe in one click.
Kept up to date
New menu, holiday hours, a seasonal special: email us and we'll change it. About an hour of changes each month is included.
A monthly report
On the 1st of each month: your site's visits, messages, bookings and sales, next to the month before. Visits are counted without cookies.

Questions shops ask
What do I need to send you?
Your logo if you have one, photos of your shop and what you sell, your menu or products with prices, and your opening hours. We don't take new photos or design logos, but we'll make the most of what you have.
Can I sell online?
Yes, if your shop is in the US. We load up to 20 products, such as coffee beans, gift boxes or candles, with a cart and checkout, and payments go to your own Stripe account. The store keeps things simple. It has no size or color options, no shipping-rate calculation (checkout takes the delivery address only), no gift cards, no pickup-time ordering, and no link to your point-of-sale system. Your prices must already include any sales tax. If you need any of these, we'll tell you before you sign up.
Can customers book with me online?
Where it fits: a cake consultation, a custom order or a private event. Each time slot takes one booking, customers get a confirmation by email, and payment isn't taken when they book.
Who answers the website chat?
You do, from one inbox, so a person always replies. If a chat waits 5 minutes, you get an email.
Can I email my customers?
Yes. Once a month you send us the text (and any photos), and we lay it out and send it to the customers who said yes to hearing from you, such as people who signed up on your site. You write the words; we never use bought or scraped lists, and you confirm your list is opted in. It goes out from your own domain, and anyone can unsubscribe in one click.
Do you reply to my Google reviews?
No. We set up review requests: after a sale or a booking, your customers get an email with your Google review link, and a private way to tell you about a problem instead. Reading and answering your Google reviews stays with you.
Do you work with shops outside the US?
We can build and run your website wherever you are. The online store charges in US dollars only, so for now it's for US shops.
Who owns my website?
Your domain is registered in your name, and your words, photos, logo and products stay yours. If you leave, we give you a copy of your public pages and your products and orders as spreadsheet (CSV) files.
Is there a contract?
Yes, a short service agreement. The standard plan has a 6-month minimum, which is how we build your site with no setup fee. After that it's month to month. Founding shops pay $49 a month for their 6 months, then $99 a month, month to month.
What's in the case study?
If you take a founding spot, we write a short piece about your new site: your pages, a few words from you, and your monthly visits and orders. It never includes anything about your customers, and it always says you got founding terms.
Will a website bring me more customers?
We can't promise any number of visitors or sales, and nobody honest can. We make it easy for people to find your hours, your menu and your door, and your monthly report shows you what's happening.
